Steve has worked across many roles in the disability services field, from Direct Support Professional to Support Coordinator and now Support Broker. At the core of Steve’s work is the belief that no program or service can replace the importance of meaningful relationships and a genuine sense of belonging in one’s community. He is committed to person-centered approaches that honor each individual’s strengths, preferences, and goals.
Patty Kowalchuk
Director / Support Broker
Patty has been working in the field of disability-related services since 1989. Along the way, she has had the good fortune to learn from some true visionaries (and a few revolutionaries!) about how she can work to make the world a better place. Relying on the phrase "Loneliness is the only real disability" (thank you Beth Mount via David Pitonyak, PhD) as her professional mantra, Patty has dedicated her career to trying to demystify the world of disability to those she meets who know nothing about it, clarify the world of disability to those she meets who don't get it, and to regard every person using funded services that she meets as her teacher.
Mike Reisser
Support BrokerMike has worked in the Disability Service field since 2019. He has worked a variety of roles from Direct Support Professional to Support Broker. Mike is a strong believer in the power of community, and he believes in the idea that as a group we can overcome many challenges that we face.
